Hello dearest, after a while without news (don't think I wasn't looking for) we have a new and great store to show you. Today, I'll present the new Cornelius Sloat store - same creator as Corn. He oppened last week the Instinct Furniture, very good place to buy bedroom sets. As we expected the textures and sculpties are so well done, given a really realistic looking to the sets, and the animations are exclusive, some are similar as we are used to see but there is some news cuddles poses very good. This store fills a lack that Corn had, their bed wasn't animated. I must say I'd love to see some more colors, most of the sets are looking a bit grey and beige, what isn't bad, just expected more audacious - I hope it comes with new collections. Some sets are also very simple but they have their value cause the great sculpties, its a good option for who has prims problems. Pillows and sheets deserve a very close looking and all credits.

Okay, today we are gonna talk about bathrooms, showers, sinks, hot tubs. Its really rare find good stuff for bathrooms in-world. I've been looking for a while and I defenetly found a good designer for that.

So, here you can see some examples about what I'm saying, anyways, if you want this room in your house, should look closer the store.

This sinks are very well done and mirrors have really nice textures, its a pitty SLLL still doesn't work to let us have reflections... bout that, I can't imagine what kind of video card would be necessary! Hahaha, so maybe better keep that way for now.

Back the subject, there is also some nice showers like this one, again very well done good textures, the shower itself is very cool, have animations too.

So if you intent have a good time with someone at the shower, this is a good optin. Anyways, this store have also all kind of furniture, nice animation, all kind of choices (if you know what I mean).

Today, I'll show some room we furnish with Shelner's products and complements. This house was build into a thematic land (new england style) what doesn't mean you have to keep it inside. Particulary I prefer mix styles and make the place more soft. So here, the view is amazing and this room has a good open for a big veranda with nice ocean outside. How its a rectangular space, in one side (the back) its was placed a kitchen and the bay-window received benchs with animated pillows - all this furniture was already owned by the house's owner. What we did was combined the colors and make it a nice and elegant room, without ignore the warm feeling for a confortable space. So, it was choose dark red color as a principal tone and some other complementars as beige, brown and purple, where you can see in the rug and pillows. Also, it was used two chairs with natural textures to bring some "movement" to the room, also, their "egg" form make it all more ergonomic to look and combines with the two sculpted puffs in the middle. In this place, there is no prims problem but, anyway its not a big quantity there, you can manage with criativity and combining tones and colors to have a nice looking at your living room to receive well your friends. Try it and have fun!

I've been looking for a while something new to bring, so I decided to show a new piece of Shelner Store and how can looks nice when its well placed. Here is the new chair Bella, pair with a sweety small puff. Was designed to look as a happy and fresh furniture.

You can use at the varandas, or inside house like a complement to bring collor. Here I show you in a terras. A nice place to receive friends, talk, or even stay a while appreciating the view.

Finally I found this lamp wich I'm a big fan in RL. Arco's Lamp was designed in 1962, when starts a great italian design production, after 2nd war period. This product is always presents in interior decoration since there. Its a very good replic, and matches pretty well with Noguchi furniture.

:: great fashion style needs great builds

Hi everyone, yes I know we are not being so regular, but I must confess we are having some difficult to find nice things that matches with our thoughts about design, ethic and copyrights. Today, just had a talking with Milla telling we just can't talk about stores that use classic design products (replicas - check last posts), even in public domain, and don't show the credits of those products. That doesn't mean you don't have to have their products and also doesn't takes the talent they have to bring SL great and well done furniture. Anyway, if you know a good design just tell us and we will be very happy to check it.

But, how this blog is about Architecture and Interior Design, today I decided to show some great places, very well built and where you can find amazing products (avatar appearance). So, that’s my homage to those great designers who help us look very nice in SL.

At first I'll talk about Armidi Gisaci, who doesn't know who they are don't really know how to well dress in SL, they do great stuffs and very fair prices (what I personally think is a very good strategy). They built an entire SIM in a good classic style, when you are there it looks you are in some European sophisticated place with good looking people and good products, with a tropical touch.

The urbanistic layout is very cool, you have about six great builds for the stores, they all look different, but also a good complex.

The textures of the builds are softy and realitics, inside you can see very good ideas to show the products with creativity and some funny.

Easy to find things, its a pity the big lag, what I think is a combination of lots of prims and alpha channels with high traffic.

The other places that deserve been showed is GLAM, Viva La Glam, there is one of the most good shoes design, other great accessories store and female fashion clothes.

Its also a SIM with 4 or 5 stores, around to limited the land they model some mountains with much green in the back and well done landscape gardening.
The outside stores looks more dark, but still in a softy way, again the textures and lights use bring us a good reality sensation. Inside the stores you will see particular interior designs of each owner store. Both places brings you a good experience how Architecture, Interior Design, Creativity can valorize even more good products and show them with the maximum they can be.
Our sincerely congratulations to all those builders and design to bring us such a good and reality experience in-world.

Sometimes real life took us so much time, that we just can't keep doing nice things here, in seconflife, but, I'm back to show you two nice things I had for a while and didn't had opportunity to post. First of all, you must had noticed that I'm a big fan of clean, modern and well done things. So, I keep searching in secondlife nice builders or designers that can make very real things but also, with a good soft and modern look. One of them is Cult Modern Furniture Store, They have very good furniture, very good design but watch out the prims, that can be a bit big number.

Today, I want to show you this nice chairs, I loved the way it looks, very simple, but expressive design. It will look amazing in some modern interior decoration, minimalist or any kind of store, office. Also, the posers are great. Its a piece you won't have to worry to get wrong, always will look nice. There is 4 colors avaiable, as everything in store, and I must confess, those are my favorite colors: white, grey, black and red. Just watch out how you want your place looks, some green (plants) nice rugs and paintings in wall will broke the "cold" look some people think about this kind of furniture.

Today, we decided to show a great real company, that made a great site in-world. There you can find virtual models of their real life stuffs (wish I admire and love in both places: secondlife and real life). Herman Miller, Inc., is a provider of office furniture and services. In-world they reproduce as close was possible their furniture. Here we will show you our favorities pieces, starting with some classics of furniture design: EAMES LOUNGE CHAIR. This chair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames, first produced in 1956, last year was celebrated the 50th year and still, looks soo contemporary and modern.

At Herman Miller Store, you can find 3 colors avaiable and, also, observe the details of textures and sculpties modelling. Its really great, you can have one at home in your bedroom, living-room, or at your store, office... always will look sofisticated. This are original models of originals furniture. Of course there is copies all over the world and here there is some explanations about it. Well, when some registered design completes 50years, then becomes a public domain. What does that means? It means that after that date, the owner of design doesn't have anymore rights of reproduction for the design, wich allow anyone to copy and/or reproduce. But, remember, an original piece (doesn't matter each type) is always an original piece with its REAL VALUE of quality and fidelity of the creation. Some of classic design furniture already are in public domain and you can find spread really bad reproductions all over. Ok, the second furniture we'd like to show is another classic design piece, by George Nelson, Marshmallow Sofa was also introduced by Herman Miller in 1956. 51 years after, this sofa is so cool and funny, can bring your place a color and spontaneous looking. The cushions can be all the same color or in multiple colors for the right look in a private office, lobby, lounge, living room, or anywhere.
To finish, we'd like to show some Herman Miller Office Furniture, The Designed by Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf , in 1995. So, watch out!!! Herman Miller owns the rights of this chair!!! Reproductions for others are not allowed. This office chair is really perfect, the model is very closer to the real one (each one is one of the most perfect chairs for offices already made, as I think). This office funrniture, for sure will bring your business site a very good impression and respect. Again, observe the great details of this furniture the sculpties and to finish as a great fidelity of appearence, the textures.

Couldn't go without say something about the building of the store, very well done, shows pretty well the Herman Miller spirit, modern, sofisticated, functional.

:: save prims

When you rent a apartment, condo or house, you have to take care the avaiable prims for you. In this apartment at Summer's Resort, you are allowed to use 180prims. This doens't block you to have a good space. There is a good example how to have a great room with the limited prims. To separet the living room from the kitchen, we built a holed wall and placed a fireplace very simple, but with a modern looking, a good texture makes the difference. To receive your friends a big couch, in neutral colors and a chair is more than enough, complemented for the 2 side tables (1prim each) and a persian rug that contrast with the modern looking and balance it. How the texture floor here has some paterns, its not recomendated to use too many different colors. The harmony is something that makes an ambient confortable.

The opposite wall, there is a little balcony, and a vase with a small palm tree (free, full perms). On the balcony again, some freebies, that for sure, you can find on your inventory. Other side of the hole wall and the fireplace, the dinner room, with an icon of design the Saarinen table (2prims), and some freebie chairs modified. Just use your imagination and have fun!!

Ah!!! How do not take advantage of a good ocean view? This house privileges the great view of the beach in front. But how to furnish whe you have some ways around - doors and stairs. Well, here we decided to have a nice dinner room next the stairs, wich doesn't interfere the walk ways, (yes, you have to think about it, or you won't walk trough your house), in the back, two chairs looking very "softy", not much wood, not much fabric, doesn't interfere the transparency of the windows. Evrything is very transparent, like the glass table top. The chairs of the dinner romm, its a freebie modified object, and the rug its the sofisticated touch, bit without change the "lighter" looking of everything. On the corner 2 ceramic potery gives a complement without took prims from you. Outside plants and the beach helps make the scenary perfect.

:: less is more

We decided to change the subject of this blog, and make it as a tool to help people to furnish and have a great house to live at secondlife. At first, the basis of the furnished will be our products, but also, will be showed nice things you can find in-world, done by the good and creative builders we have here.

This living room is an example how you can have a clean and sofisticated living room to receive your friends without too many prims. First, the couchs as very basic, and those takes the more quantity of prims, so you have to save the rest, but even they looking clean and basic they are the principal focus of the ambient. As a good complement, a side table, not too short in the corner, can have flowers or a lamp. In this case, we decided the flowers cause the big chandelier in the ceiling give us enough light and also, brings a sofisticated looking for the room. A simple rug with some tone color changing delimit the ambient where you can place a central short table, made with only one prim, but good textures and some freebies on (check your inventory, I know you will find great things there). The TV on the balcony with glass separes the other room, without be a physical wall. The final touchs comes with the flexy courtains (I love those laces) and the vase with papirus in the corner. Also, the painting in the wall, can bring a personal touch if you place a good picture of you.

This is SENSITE OUR BEACH BUILD. Designed and build it by Shelner Inc. CEOs. Its an exclusive build, with some great improvements, as blinding windowns and doors with permission list, so, only who is allowed can manage it.

We developed an exclusive elevator system that works quite similar as a real one.
